Periodically, we here at Cloudscape like to share what our various members have been up to around Vancouver. Here’s some of the amazing art you can check out around town this May.
Carolyn Wong, who created the fantastic cover images for Welcome to Mina’s, has completed a mural in Vancouver’s Chinatown. The project is a collaboration between the Vancouver Mural Festival and the Chinatown Business Improvement Association. To view the mural, head over to the Ten Ren Tea shop at 500 Main St (right at the corner of Main + Pender).
Madeline Berger, the creator behind Madeline’s Good Dirt and Junk Guide, has a solo art show opening at the James Black Gallery on May 17th as part of VanCAF! The show opens at 7pm and there will be plenty of comics, illustrations, and prints for sale.
Huê Nguyen, who hosts our Poetry Club on the first Tuesday of every month, has a solo art show opening on Saturday May 21st at Red Gate. The show opens at 7pm.
