Cloudscape’s Summer of Comics 2024!

Happy Canada Day, one and all! The Cloudscape Comics Society is pleased to announce the Summer of Comics bingo challenge in 2024! The challenge? Read more comics!

This event will run from July 1st to September 3rd. If you can fill in one or more rows of this bingo sheet, you can enter to win one of our prizes! The grand prize is Cloudscape’s entire ebook library, and the two runner-up prizes are one of Cloudscape’s ebooks of your choice. Full contest rules are at the bottom of this article. Note that the “Free Space” is for ANY comic of your choice… not a space where you don’t have to read anything. 😉 Here is the link to the contest entry form!

During this event, we encourage you to share your comic reads on social media with the hashtag #summerofcomics! We will be active on our Discord server, Instagram, and Bluesky to share recommendations from others and post our own progress on our bingo sheets during the event. CONTEST RULES:

  1. To qualify for the Cloudscape Comics Society’s Summer of Comics Contest in 2024, entrants must have access to the internet to access the Entry Portal on Google Forms and have completed (fully filled in) one or more rows of a Summer of Comics Bingo Sheet. This contest is open to anyone with internet access, though the graphic novel prizes are in English. Entrants must be 18+ years of age to enter.
  1. Entrants must be willing to provide an email address that Cloudscape will use to notify the entrant if they win the Contest. Entrants are limited to one entry per person (the use of multiple email addresses could result in the entrant being disqualified). Cloudscape will NOT send newsletters or other promotional materials to this email address unless the entrant indicates they would like to receive these materials. 
  1. There will be a draw for one (1) Grand Prize and two (2) Runner-up Prizes. The Grand Prize is a digital e-book PDF collection of Cloudscape’s graphic novel library, valued at $140+ Canadian Dollars (CAD). The Runner-up Prize winners will win one (1) digital ebook PDF file from Cloudscape’s library of their choice, the value of the ebook not exceeding $30 CAD. 
  1. Cloudscape has published a variety of graphic novels and anthologies suitable for a wide range of audiences. It is the responsibility of the entrant to check the summary of their desired ebook prize for suitability. Our books range from all-ages stories to stories that address mature themes. The Cloudscape Comics Society will not send another prize if the prize winner does not enjoy their first choice. 
  1. The chances of winning depend on the number of entries to the contest. The winners will be selected through a random draw and announced on Instagram, Bluesky, and the Cloudscape Discord server. 
  1. The Summer of Comics Contest in 2024 will end on September 3rd, 2024 at 11:59pm PST. The random draw will occur on September 11th, 2024 at 8pm PST.
  1. The prizes are digital PDF ebooks, and it is up to the entrant to know whether or not they can access the files if they win. The Cloudscape Comics Society will not provide any alternate prize if the winner is unable to access the ebook file(s).Â
